When you arrive for your appointment there is ample parking options. I'm located on the second floor. Washrooms are located on either side of the stairs.

 

Please help yourself to something to drink in the waiting room. I will come out to get you at your appointment time. Sessions are generally 50 minutes as the last 10 minutes of the hour are used to complete paperwork.

 

The goal of a first session is for us to get to know each other, for you to ask any questions to help you decide if I'm the right therapist for you, and to explore treatment goals.

 

Therapy isn't a one size fits all. We will discuss treatment goals and modalities on an ongoing basis to ensure we are on the right track. Then make adjustments as needed. I can't predict how many sessions you will need as this is different for everyone. Session frequency is also client dependant. Factors we consider include; insurance/affordability, crisis/need, and availability of our schedules.

As per the recommendations of the College of Alberta Psychologists my fees are $220/50 minute session. Sliding fees are avaliable on a limited basis so please inquire when booking.

 

Direct billing is avaliable for some insurance companies. Please share insurance information when booking. You will be provided with a receipt for claiming if direct billing isn't possible.

 

Third party billing is also an option. Please note that third parties rarely pay for missed or late cancelled sessions.
I am happy to provide both in person and virtual sessions.

 

Virtual sessions are held on HIPPA compliant, encrypted and secure platforms. Upon booking you will be provided with a secure link. If there are technical issues I will call you on the phone number provided.
